I had a fantastic stay at Higashiyama With, located just a short walk from the metro station. the convenience was unbeatable, and the hotel's administration went above and beyond to ensure I found my way there without any issues. the location of the hotel was perfect, with many attractions within walking distance, including Nanzenji, Gion, and Maruyama Park. the manager, Tomoki, was incredibly helpful and provided great tips and assistance throughout my stay. the hotel staff were fluent in both English and Mandarin, making communication a breeze. this hotel offered fantastic value for money and was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Kyoto. Cons: All I can say is that my stay was simply great! 😊.

The room was quite spacious and had a traditional Japanese feel to it, which I really enjoyed. The big bathtub was a definite highlight since it allowed me to relax after a long day of sightseeing. the hotel was located close to some famous temples, which made it easy to explore the area on foot.
This hotel wasn't the best choice for our New Year's trip. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet, with few open restaurants or shops.

Our family had a great stay in a modern and spacious room with a large bathtub and efficient service. the hotel’s location was ideal, situated between two train stations, near Nanzenji temple and walking distance to old temples. the furniture and equipment are brand new, and the hotel is very peaceful. the local restaurants were great too. Highly recommend for a family trip.
We experienced a minor issue with the lack of towel hooks in the bathroom.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the One-Bedroom Suite at Higashiyama With. It was definitely larger than expected, providing ample room for my family of three. The suite was impeccably clean and well-maintained, giving it a modern and fresh feel. The manager and staff were extremely helpful, going above and beyond to assist with all of my inquiries and even helping me secure transportation. I was impressed by their fluency in English and their willingness to assist with any needs. The location of the hotel, although not perfectly situated between train stations, was still convenient for exploring Kyoto. I highly recommend Higashiyama With for its excellent accommodation and exceptional service.

I also loved the location, as it was conveniently close to many temples and gardens in the Southern Higashiyama neighborhood. Additionally, the breakfast at the coffee club was a delightful experience, with the old gentleman making delicious coffee while his wife prepared the toast and eggs.
